According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian forces shot down 10 missiles during a Russian attack on an oil depot near the border between the two countries. The missiles were launched from Russian territory, targeting the depot in the Ukrainian-controlled city of Chonhar, located in Kherson Oblast.
The ministry said that the missiles were intercepted by Ukrainian air defense systems in the vicinity of Chonhar. A video posted on social media showed a cloud of smoke rising from the area following the attack, although the cause of the blaze is yet to be determined. There have been no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the incident. It is unclear what motivated the attack or why the Russian missiles were being aimed at the depot.
