Mars Wrigley India (M&M), a subsidiary of the US-based Mars Wrigley Confectionery, announced its standalone profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 at a 22% higher than the same quarter of the previous year at Rs 1,549 crore.
The company declared a 325% dividend to shareholders, amounting to Rs 11.10 per share. During the quarter, the company’s revenue stood at Rs 8,400 crore, up 10.9% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.
In addition, the company’s operating profit (EBITDA) increased to Rs 844 crore from Rs 667 crore in Q4FY20, a YoY growth of 26.4%. The company’s EBITDA for the nine months of the financial year 2021 was Rs 1,917 crore, up from Rs 1,847 crore in the same period last year.
Commenting on the Q4 results, M&M Chief Executive Officer Pratik Pota said, “We are starting the new financial year on a strong note as we have reported a stellar performance in Q4FY21.
