43 flights are cancelled by British Airways because of another IT failure

British Airways has cancelled 43 flights due to yet another IT issue.

The company said the cancellations, which will affect 30 regional and 13 short-haul services, have been brought about by an ongoing IT issue the airline experienced on Saturday.

On Saturday, British Airways suffered a technical meltdown which resulted in its aircraft fleet being grounded for several hours. The issue was eventually resolved, however British Airways continued to experience IT-related problems throughout the following days, resulting in a number of cancellations and delays.

British Airways apologized to passengers affected by the disruption, and said it was doing everything it could to resolve the issue and minimize the impacts. Passengers affected by the cancellations have been offered alternative flights or the option to have a full refund.
