Iran unveiled its fourth-generation Khaibar ballistic missile, which has a 2,000 kilometre range

The Khaibar-1 missile was unveiled on the Iranian Defense Ministry’s website on May 20th, 2019. The solid-fuel, two-stage missile is capable of carrying multiple warheads and has a range of over 2000 kilometers. The missile is also capable of maneuvering at high speeds to avoid incoming enemy missiles. This makes it more difficult to intercept. The Khaibar-1 is part of Iran’s expanding arsenal of long-range missiles. It joins the existing Kowsar-88, Shahab-3, and Sejjil series of missiles in Iran’s arsenal.
