Author of a novel about her husband’s passing is accused of murder

Karen K. Mcdougal, the author of a best-selling book about her husband’s death, has been charged with his murder. McDougal was arrested in Missouri and charged with second-degree murder after the death of her husband, Andrew, in August 2018. According to reports, Andrew McDougal died from a gunshot wound to the head in their home in rural Missouri.

McDougal wrote a book called “The Wild and Wicked World of Karen McDougal,” which detailed her husband’s death. In the book, she claimed that her husband had committed suicide. However, authorities believe that McDougal is responsible for his death. McDougal is currently being held in the St. Louis County Jail and is due in court for her arraignment on October 16. If found guilty, she could face up to life in prison.
