In the case of a missing American woman who was abducted from her house in Mexico, the FBI has offered a $20,000 reward

The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the safe return of an American woman who was kidnapped from her home in Mexico. The woman, who has not been identified, was taken from her home in the city of Mérida in the state of Yucatán on August 15.

The FBI is working with Mexican authorities to investigate the abduction and to locate the missing woman. The FBI is urging anyone with information about the case to call 1-800-CALLFBI or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.

The FBI’s reward is part of its ongoing effort to assist in locating and rescuing missing Americans abroad. It is the bureau’s policy to not comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, including the identity of the victim in this case.
