Imran Khan and his close aide are the targets of new cases filed by the Pakistani police

The Pakistani police have filed new cases against Imran Khan and his close aide, Zulfi Bukhari, in relation to the misuse of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program funds. The cases have been filed in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The NAB cases involve allegations of misuse of public funds allocated for the Prime Minister’s Youth Program as well as allegations of corruption. The FIA cases are related to the illegal transfer of funds from the Prime Minister’s Youth Program to offshore accounts.

Both Imran Khan and Zulfi Bukhari have denied any wrongdoing and have said that the allegations are politically motivated.

The Pakistani government has said that it is committed to fighting corruption and that it will investigate the allegations in a “transparent and impartial manner”.

The cases against Imran Khan and Zulfi Bukhari are the latest in a series of actions taken by the government to investigate and prosecute high-level corruption and misuse of public funds.
