The Chinese Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia next week.
The visit is scheduled for June 5-7 and will be held in Moscow.
The two countries will hold the 23rd regular meeting of the heads of state between President Xi and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral ties and international issues of common concern. It is also expected that the two sides will sign several agreements.
Xi’s visit will be his first to Russia since taking office in 2013.
