China’s President Xi Jinping will visit Russia next week for a state visit, the Kremlin said on Wednesday. The visit, which will take place on June 5 and 6, will include talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Xi’s visit to Russia comes at a time of increased economic cooperation between the two countries and amid rising tensions between Moscow and Washington over the Ukrainian crisis.
