On April 6, 2021, Ravi Chaudhary was confirmed by the United States Senate for the position of Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller. Chaudhary is an Indian American who previously served as acting Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller. He is the first Indian American to serve in this role.
Chaudhary has a long history of public service. He served in the Air Force for more than 20 years and was a senior leader in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. He also held various positions in the Department of Defense and the intelligence community. Chaudhary received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
