British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has come under fire after his pet dog was spotted roaming freely in a public park without a leash. The incident took place in Richmond Park, which is a National Nature Reserve, and Sunak was reportedly seen walking the dog without a leash.
Local residents have expressed outrage at the Prime Minister’s apparent disregard for the park’s rules, with some even suggesting that it’s a breach of the law.
The Royal Parks, which oversees the park, has said that it is illegal to let pets roam free in the park and warned that it could result in a fine of up to £500. Sunak has yet to comment on the incident, but it’s fair to say that he’s in the doghouse.
