IAF plane departs towards earthquake-stricken Turkey carrying Indian Army officers and medical professionals, including surgeons.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has sent an aircraft carrying Indian Army officials, medical specialists including surgeons to Turkey in order to provide assistance in the aftermath of the recent earthquake. The aircraft, with a team of medical personnel, took off from Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad, India.

The IAF is providing medical assistance to the earthquake-affected areas of Turkey. The medical team includes specialists in orthopedics, anesthesia, and general surgery. The team is expected to provide medical assistance to the injured, perform surgeries, and provide medical support to the local hospitals.

The IAF had also sent its aircraft to Nepal in the wake of the devastating earthquake in April 2015. The IAF had provided rescue and relief operations to those affected by the earthquake, which had caused massive destruction and loss of life.

The IAF has been providing assistance to Turkey for some time now. In November 2016, the IAF had sent a team of specialists to Turkey to provide medical assistance to victims of a terror attack in Istanbul. The IAF is committed to providing assistance to countries in need and will continue to do so in times of crisis.
