Drone passes over Hatay, Turkey, exposing the depth of the devastation

Video captured by a drone in the Turkish city of Hatay has revealed the extent of the destruction caused by a powerful earthquake that struck the region on Friday.

The video shows the ruins of several structures, including a mosque and a hotel, that were destroyed by the 7.0 magnitude quake. The footage also shows the streets of the city littered with debris and overturned vehicles.

At least 57 people were killed in the quake and more than 1,000 injured. Local authorities have warned that the death toll may rise as rescue efforts continue.

The quake was felt more than 600 miles away in Istanbul, causing panic among residents.
