Everything Everywhere All At Once is nominated for the most Oscars in 2023

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the nominees for the Academy Awards in 2023, and the top nominee is Everything Everywhere All At Once, a sci-fi drama directed by Ava DuVernay. The film scored twelve nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Original Score, and Best Visual Effects.

The film stars Daniel Kaluuya, Lupita Nyong’o, and Elizabeth Debicki in the lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Don Cheadle, David Oyelowo, and Sterling K. Brown. The movie is set in a future where a mysterious event has caused the citizens of the world to be able to see into each other’s minds and memories.

The other major nominees this year include The French Dispatch, The Father, Nomadland, and Mank. All four films have been nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and several other awards.

The 93rd Academy Awards ceremony will take place on April 25, 2023.
