According to police in California, two senior citizens allegedly targeted immigrants in a shooting that left four people dead and six others injured. The two suspects, a man and a woman, are in their late 70s or early 80s and are believed to have carried out the shooting on Tuesday night at a home in Fresno, California.
Police have not yet released the suspects’ names or any other details about them, but they did say that the two suspects were both armed with handguns and that they targeted the victims because of their immigration status.
The victims of the shooting were all immigrants from Guatemala and were in the process of trying to become U.S. citizens. Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
