Three people were killed and a suspect was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at a convenience store in Washington state on Wednesday night, police said.
The incident occurred at a 7-Eleven store in Lynnwood, Wash., just north of Seattle.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that officers responded to a reported shooting at the convenience store at 10:25 p.m. Upon arrival, they found three people dead inside the store and the suspect dead outside.
The identities of the victims and the suspect have not yet been released.
The sheriff’s office said it is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and that it appears to have been a targeted act of violence. It did not elaborate further.
