Seven people were killed and one person was critically injured in a shooting spree in California on Tuesday, officials said. Police have arrested the suspect.
The shooting occurred at multiple locations in Tehama County, about 130 miles north of Sacramento. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter that the suspect was apprehended and there was no further threat to the public.
The victims and the suspect have not been identified. It was not immediately clear what motivated the shooting.
The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office said it would provide more information at a news conference later Tuesday.
