On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees via video conferencing. PM Modi lauded the children for their extraordinary achievements and encouraged them to continue working hard and setting an example for others. He advised the children to be aware of the opportunities available in the country and to take advantage of them. He also advised the young awardees to focus on the development of their skills and to use them to contribute towards the nation’s progress.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the importance of education and said that every Indian should become educated and get the most out of their education. He further added that the youth of the country should work towards building a strong India. He encouraged the awardees to become active members of the society and to take up projects and initiatives that can bring changes in the society.
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is an annual award given to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of children in various fields, such as education, sports, and social service. The award was instituted in 2019 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
