London uses wall paint that splatters uric acid to criticise public urination

Yes, London has been using a special type of wall paint that splatters uric acid when it comes into contact with urine, in an effort to deter public urination. The paint, called Ultra-Ever Dry, was developed by a US-based company, and is designed to create an invisible barrier between the wall and the urine. When the urine comes into contact with the wall, the barrier is broken and the paint splatters the uric acid back at the offender. The paint is currently being used in some of the city’s most notorious spots for public urination.
