At 60,814, the Sensex is down 44 points, and the Nifty is below 18,100

The key Indian equity indices — the BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty50 — declined during the mid-afternoon trade session on Tuesday.

At 1:19 pm, the Sensex was trading at 60,814.30, lower by 44.17 points or 0.07 per cent from its previous close.

It opened at 60,958.22 and touched an intra-day high of 61,089.42 and a low of 60,743.42.

The Nifty50 on the National Stock Exchange was trading at 18,092.15, lower by 0.10 points or 0.00 per cent from its previous close.
