As the Covid-19 pandemic has spread across the globe, China has taken some drastic steps to contain it. These include travel restrictions, mass testing, and even quarantines in some regions. But while Chinese President Xi Jinping has been mostly hands-off in the fight against the virus, ordinary Chinese citizens have taken it upon themselves to battle the virus in their own unique ways.
Many Chinese citizens have gone out of their way to help their communities by volunteering to deliver supplies, distribute protective gear, and even help out in the medical community.
