A fuel pipeline explosion in Damascus countryside has led to widespread energy outages all throughout Syria, based on the nation’s electrical energy and power ministries.

A stretch of the Arab Fuel Pipeline between the cities of Al-Dumayr and Adra in Damascus governorate, was broken in an an explosion on Sunday night time, leading to energy outages, based on Syria’s Electrical energy Minister.

The blast “might have been attributable to a terrorist act” and “led to energy cuts in all of Syria,” SANA stories, citing the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Assets.
