The footage reveals the Iran-flagged vessel –reportedly shadowed by a US ship– because it handed by stormy waters en path to Venezuelan shores with tons of of hundreds of barrels of oil in its tanks.
The video, posted on Twitter by Iran’s embassy to Venezuela, reveals ‘Fortune’s journey by Venezuela’s unique financial zone. Presumably shot from the ship’s bridge, the footage reveals the higher deck of the oil tanker washed by highly effective waves because it struggles towards stormy climate. The video, although, has been deleted from the embassy’s Twitter web page.
The vessel set sail from Iran earlier this month, carrying the primary gas provide for the South American nation, which has been tormented by financial downturn and sweeping US sanctions. A complete of 5 tankers are anticipated to unload some 1.5 million barrels of gasoline at Venezuelan ports.
Caracas had beforehand deployed its navy to protect the pleasant tankers from any US actions, fearing what it known as “the specter of imminent use of navy drive” by Washington. Tehran, in flip, warned that the US ‘can be in hassle’ if it interferes with their passage.
